August 19, 2009 Can’t wait to get to heaven! I’ve spent my entire life being a “busy beaver” DOWN HERE on earth…. Always, always, ALWAYS had one project or another (or albeit several) at a time going! Been that way even since I was a little kid!
Now days though – well, in fact, it’s been this way for many years….. the OVERWHELMED feeling ~ there are not “enough hours in the day” sort of thing!
I am blessed in being able to have a home office, but I don’t think I’m EVER going to get it cleaned up & CLUTTER FREE!! Drives me crazy at times. Oh, I have high hopes; I always have had, but heheh….. every time I unclutter a little space (yay, can finally see there’s a desk underneath all that paperwork! Hah!) ~ then here comes LOTS MORE STUFF!! So then, I pile it to the other desk – which is growing by leaps & bounds…. And it all appears to be virtually impossible to ever get caught up… guess I’m using “rapture lingo” here…. Smile! {that KIND of “caught up” will NOT be “impossible” though!! Because Lord Jesus will be The One catching us up!!}
Anyway, a quick “picture” as to why I tend to be so late in updating this site…. There is a WHOLE LOT of news to update…. It’s been like that for a few years, but whew,…. Just trying to keep up!!
For those who have no interest in going to heaven any time SOON, thinking all their “fun” is going to stop [maybe so in love with THIS WORLD or with THIS LIFE] ~ well, got some good news for you: joyous life with the Lord can truly begin in Paradise once we are there! And if you are going ~ you WILL enjoy it ~ guaranteed!! Read David Reagan’s article, esp paying attention to the last part about the ACTIVITIES of HEAVEN!!!

Other than staring at the brightness of the Lord, with His eyes beaming a hole right through my soul…. As He knows my every thought, my intent, all things about my heart are laid bare before His eyes….. and so I want to just stare at Him for a zillion years or so!
And then, at some point, hopefully you will find me in a corner of heaven – maybe sitting by a stream, working on my “next book” [shame on me – I wish I would have made a living by writing books “down here”…. But that kept getting put off to the backburner as so many other pressing matters called for my attention] At any rate, I do not leave this earth remorseful about it ~ because I know I will be spending an eternity “catching up” and using my God-given talents “UP THERE”!! ….. smile….
I want to paint; I want to care for the animals; I want to hear about the Old Testament Saints’ experiences; I want to walk by the river with the Lord Himself; I want to plant seeds & watch them grow.
Cucumbers! This year, I planted cucumbers ~ merely one packet of organic seeds & now I’ve got cucs coming out the wazoo! ~ been able to eat plenty (silica in them ~ a good cleansing agent to rid the body of “toxins”) and have had plenty more to share with neighbors.
Funny thing is, my 4-year-old neighbor likes to come over & find them and pluck them off the vine! She loves that! And it’s cute to watch her get so much enjoyment from it. Know what though? It made me think of how impatient some “watchers” have been over the years ~ instead of taking to heart James 5:7 to [ Be Patient and Persevering ] Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
Then on the other hand, we are also to wait EAGERLY: Romans 8:23 Not only that,
but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. And: Philippians
3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ, and Hebrews 9:28
so Christ was offered once to bear the sins
of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from
sin, for salvation.
Soo…. How are we to be PATIENT ~ and yet EAGER at the same time? Well, we watch, watch, watch for Him; we pray, pray, pray that He is coming SOON!!! We groan within our spirits – esp. when besieged by the world like Lot {If I have to hear just one more story about some dirty old man who raped a 2 year old child ~ I’d honestly like to go beat the living daylights out of him myself!! Know what though? Little good it’d do ~ people like him are likely SO reprobate already that he’s too far gone…. He’d recover from such a beating & then go out to rape yet another child… perhaps the reason the Lord made the Lake of Fire to last forever & ever, because most people would not repent even if they had a chance to come out of there…? Hmm… that was Tim LaHaye’s reasoning anyway….} & so we say & pray, “Lord, please let it be TODAY” ~ thus, do we hasten His coming this way? Honestly, I don’t mean to rhyme…. Just a poet & didn’t know it! … smile… .kidding about that….
And in the meantime, we’ve got work to continue to do!! Thus, we pray that we will be smart enough – to have CLEAR CUT HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTION that we may “redeem the time” ~ what LITTLE time there is left!!
Americans, we need someone to “sign up” ~ to “enlist in the army” (the Spiritual army!) ~ to agree to fast, to agree to be down on our knees every day, every evening for this country ~ to avert as much damage as possible to this country ~ by the Marxist leaders who are currently in charge! See:

Listen, I know all about the need (yes, NEED!!) for the “occasional” break – to “come away for a little while” ~ and REST…. [some call this “sticking your head in the sand” ~ I call it a NEEDED REST that only heaven can provide…. Otherwise, if we are on duty 24/7, too easy to burnout!! ~ and if we burnout, we are no good to ANYONE!!] But take note that there’s a difference between the lazy, complacent Christian who ~ even if s/he is into “watching” (a.k.a. ‘harvesting the cucumbers’ without having planted, watered, cultivated them ~ hahah!) who is not willing to do ANY work for the Lord at all….. compare to those who are on the frontline, willing to pray daily, fast when led to, etc. but needs the occasional break. See?! There is a difference!
So, there’s surely a season & a time for everything under the sun! ~ a time to be
on the front lines, a time to pray, a time to rest. But regardless of what we spend
our days & minutes doing ~ during the sliver of time that is left ~ we should :

EXCELLENT commentary from Sunday Aug. 9th “The Agony of Waiting” {interestingly enough “on the same page” with him, as I wrote my commentary above BEFORE even peeking at his!! Hmm….Holy Spirit prompting?!} and MOSTLY excellent commentary from Sunday, August 16th, 2009 ~ “Don’t forget the PRE in pre-tribulation rapture” AH!!!! Sounds soo good to me!! I hope so, hope so, hope so!! {not HOPING for a pre-trib rapture ~ that’s a promised deal! Revelation 2:22 But I HOPE it is within a few weeks!! Can’t stand this world any more – just a passing through; I want to be in a place where there is no crime, so sin, no hurting anyone} I absolutely cried all day Sunday a week ago ~ you see, crimes against humanity are aghast enough, but this story in the paper was about torturing a sweet, innocent little dog – one of God’s creatures that HE cares about!! Like the Karen Carpenter song of “long ago” ~ bless the beasts & the children – they have no voice; they have no choice. Believe me, it’s a far worse thing to extract crimes against people, but this, for me, was just the STRAW that broke the proverbial camel’s back!!
Christians will always disagree on whether there will be animals in heaven, but God made them; He cared for them; not one sparrow falls without HIS notice. Why would He make something for us to enjoy “down here” and neglect to give us the same kind of joy in heaven?
Christians, again, may I remind you that being uplifted to heaven’s Throne Room is not only our BLESSED HOPE ~ it is our ONLY HOPE!! This country (America) is going down FAST…. Faster than any of us would have ever imagined in our wildest nightmares. Sad as it is! ~ and I’m as much a Patriot as anyone. But the Bible said this time would come. Yet, it’s sad to see. And weird that most people think things are only getting better! {they are the blind ones}
“Better” huh?... Well, you can read all you want about the economy collapsing, people being without jobs, the swine flu vaccine to be mandatory or off you go to prison or killed, banks closing, knowing at some point, martial law coming to America, etc. etc. etc. OR you can be infused with the words of our BLESSED HOPE ~ that Jesus is coming soon!!
Okay, got to make some midday errands. Maybe this evening ~ or hopefully very, very soon ~ I will have a chance to start putting my notes here as to why I think America (gasp!!) could be the daughter of Babylon (Is. 47; Jer 50-51)
