In other words: stand firm! “Come away for a WHILE” and rest when you need an occasional break, but stay IN the fight. Throw off every hindrance so that you can keep running the race; and run TO WIN!! Keep on keeping on ~ we must go on as though life is “ordinary”, even though we know that trumpet is sooo getting ready to sound! From everything I’ve been reading, hearing, watching, observing, it just cannot be much longer now!
I don’t want to turn anyone off, for how many times I’ve sounded like a broken record over the years, and I admit to being an “eager beaver” & jumping the gun way too many times in the past. But we can see, see, see for ourselves what all is going on in the world! Fact is, if a person cannot — then he is spiritually blind, no two ways about it.
Hal Lindsey is issuing alerts like crazy — that something is going to HAVE to happen in the MidEast very, very soon. Syria, Iran, Israel ~ all the big names of the MidEast are being mentioned continuously. I know we’ve traveled similar roads in the past, where Iran has threatened D-Day for Israel, but when you take this, coupled with Blair & Obama trying soo hard to force Israel’s hand….. Then Hal offers an invitation for salvation…. He, too, realizes that the trumpet is so soon to sound!
And then, as though it’s not enough for the antichrists of the world to push Israel,

Yah, I know how this game is played….. After all, I’ve read & heard that “Twilight” just doesn’t have all the cussing in it and AFTER ALL (big major whine!) the two “very innocent” teens DID WAIT till after they were married to have sex. This is what happens when “christians” want to have one foot in the world & look for ways to MORALIZE something that is of the world. What does Scripture say? James 4:4 “...Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
And I know that this movie is “packaged pretty” and therefore more alluring to “christians” as it is to the world…..well, DUH!! Sorry to be harsh & sarcastic … but really now: would something evil be ACCEPTED as “something good” if it were SHOWN to be evil to start with? Even satan can transform himself into an angel of LIGHT. I’ve mentioned before, the AntiChrist will destroy many BY DECEPTION; BY PEACE!! If he came on the scene wearing red tights with a tail & standing there with a pitchfork — of course, the world could see through him. But when he comes on the scene all smiley, happy, huge smile, charismatic, handsome, charming, and with huge talk of “peace” and of how the whole world can & should get along, then he will be accepted!!
Remember always: from Genesis 3:6 “...So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate…” Sin is most generally packaged as PLEASANT to the EYES!!! (it LOOKS GOOD!) Sin is most generally DESIRABLE For “whatever reason” [fill in the blank] that people give to JUSTIFY it; also justify that it was “good for food”….. Never mind what GOD SAID…. Right?! And often times, satan gets us to QUESTION “Has God INDEED SAID….??” ...slithering slimy snake that he is!!
So, when satan whispers (or shouts … or perhaps tells you even thru’ your “christian” friends) that we have FREEEEEEDOM in Christ (usually their favorite lie/line for why it’s “okay” to wallow in sin just because they beeeeeeee-leeeeve in Jesus!), y/our job is not to “converse with the devil”, but Scripture says RESIST HIM and he will flee from us! If “everyone” at church is doing it… then perhaps it’s high time that you really seek the Lord and search out His answers. His answers may be that you leave the church all together if that’s what it takes to not make any “provision” and to “resist” the devil & his cunning schemes!
I realize some will think: “another Christian, making a mountain out of a molehill”….. Hey, look, if it was important enough to be put IN the Bible, in telling us HOW TO LIVE, what to resist, etc. and if our main aim is to please God ~ not men, then let’s do what He tells us! So Rick Warren claims we are not fit for God’s Kingdom and that we are standing in the way of MidEast peace. Chuckles…. Does it not just “blow you away” the stupid, most ridiculous lies of the devil that people are ACTUALLY BUYING!!?? Sometimes you flat don’t know whether to laugh or cry… and yes, I’ve done both. Anyway, yes, we ARE standing in the way of MidEast peace all right — not “us” per se, but the Holy Spirit Who resides IN us remains in the way!!..

Trib tactics are under way (if you keep up with prophecy news, I’m sure you’re aware of every home in America being painted with GPS ~ thanks to the “order” of the “supreme commander”); but the good news for wise virgins: all is good to go with the soon rapture, too!

I’m the one who spent time on earth being an extremist — a “dangerous” [narrow-minded] Christian, [walking on a narrow path] who claimed Jesus was the only entrance into heaven, and doubly dangerous in that I specialized in prophecy, {GASP!!} in looking up, in doing God’s will. My husband is apparently an extremist, too, as his one-inch pocket knife [he uses to clip his nails] was recently ceased at airport security. WHAT A JOKE the “security” in this country is! May 24, 2009 Are your feet to the fire? Powers & principalities of darkness encamping round about you? Sure is difficult to “count it all joy” at such times, isn’t it? I know — we’re in the middle of many tests right now as well.
With the Lord’s help, we will put our minds on things ABOVE and not wallow in sewer thinking in considering the harsh, evil, unfair ways of the world. The world is NOT a pretty sight for God’s true followers right now.
We were exhorted to know the time frame of Jesus’ coming in which He will receive us unto Himself, and as we see this day approaching, let’s not allow fear, depression, anxiety, and/or discouragement to burglarize us, robbing from us the joy that is ours just around the bend! The joy of the Lord is our STRENGTH!! The Lord Himself will reward us with a crown – for loving His appearing!
So let’s wake up out of slumber, care about each other, comfort each other, exhort & edify, and LIFT UP OUR HEADS…for the Day is QUICKLY approaching!!
