April 22, 2010 - I was trying to think of a way to put together an article about the dangers of celebrating earth day (small ‘e’ on purpose, the same way I purposely will not capitalize pope, or satan and come to think of it, I certainly need to do this with islam as well.) Anyway, earth day as it is dubbed, for the tens of millions who will celebrate it is nothing more than worshipping the creation rather than the Creator!! {Romans 1:25}
Sure, we are to be good stewards of resources, but this does not mean going overboard into doopy-loopy land! Not to be worried every time we throw a paper towel away. I can well imagine all the people who will show up at health food stores with tons of green bags, each one trying to outdo the other on who’s the better person with the most bags. I can imagine all the lights turned off in order to pay homage to going green. Less TV is probably a good thing for everyone. But sitting in the dark? Only if you have not paid the light bill, I suppose!
